Entering into a therapy room can be downright awkward. Many of us did not grow up freely talking about emotions, especially sadness or fear let alone talking about feelings for 55 minutes. I created the optimal environment to embrace the tension between facing your fears by risking vulnerability and naming your deep desires for connection and healing. And trust me, we go deep, way deep, mixed in with moments of fresh air and lightness.
I will put theory into practice and explain different aspects of mental health to you that is digestible and relatable. Since you are honoring me with your vulnerability, I will do my best to make this experience worth your while.

Therapeutic Style
I have a relational style and am more process-oriented for a reason. Oftentimes, trauma is relational and therefore, healing must also involve relational elements. This means that I will bring my style of relating into therapy, as a genuine, direct, honest, and active participant. There will be laughing, crying, sarcasm, and rewarding ah-ha moments. Also, we can’t do therapy without increasing tools to navigate life, such as challenging our dysfunctional patterns of thinking and incorporating relaxation, mindfulness, and somatics.
