Welcome!
I’m Gloria Huh (she/her/hers), a licensed psychologist in Seattle, Washington.
Growing up second-generation Korean American, therapy wasn’t what we did and maybe it wasn’t the case for you either. That experience influences how I work. I’ve built a practice that tries to meet you where you are.
My approach is built on two core ideas: that your context and culture are central to understanding your distress and resilience (multicultural theory), and that your early childhood experiences and relationships still shape you today (psychodynamic theory).
I’m more conversational than clinical, more honest than scripted. My goal isn’t to give you advice but to help you find your own. Read more about why in the Seattle Times. And if you want to know more of how I think, listen to my new podcast, Nothing to Fix, with co-host, Jordan Alam.
