Why work with me?

I’m a 2nd-generation Korean American child of immigrant parents who learned by doing—therapy for myself and curating the therapy experience for those who look like me.

After experiencing a traumatic event at seventeen, I didn’t know that I was traumatized until I was in a doctoral program training to become a psychologist in my thirties. I didn’t want anyone else like me to suffer that long without help.

I’m that therapy skeptic who spent a decade trying to find therapy that worked for me. Frustrated with the process, I became what I wish I had when I was young. I’ve helped hundreds providing therapy/consultation for more than a decade with much success.

But…

I’m always full and turn so many people of color away.

Remembering why I became a psychologist in the first place—to help the community, I wanted to offer something more accessible for healing. And so, I am developing products and services that take all these acquired principles into account.

If you are not in therapy or not satisfied with therapy but want to figure stuff out, this is for you.

Think of me as your Korean master chef who has spent decades perfecting her banchan (side dishes).

I place them in front of you.

Select which banchan matches your tastebuds.

Place it in your dosirak (packed lunchbox) alongside sticky rice.
